Job summary

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with at least 5+ years leading projects or managing directs.
• 7+ years of experience using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka to build/deploy and maintain software applications using cloud platforms.
• 3+ years leading cross-functional teams without direct authority with collaboration across engineering, architecture, security, and business stakeholders.
• 3+ years defining technology strategy and leading adoption/operationalization of AI/ML, cloud services, automation, and developer productivity tools in large-scale environments.
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms, distributed systems, APIs, microservices and modern software practices.

Responsibilities

• Own risk mitigation and production stability through root cause analysis and timely resolution of production issues.
• Oversee the full SDLC including requirements, design, development, testing, and deployment with secure coding and scalable architecture.
• Collaborate with Product, Data, Infrastructure, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions and ensure efficient delivery pipelines.
• Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies and best practices to enhance system performance and developer productivity.
• Build and develop engineering teams by hiring top talent and fostering continuous improvement and technical excellence.
