Job summary

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with at least 5+ years of leading projects or managing directs.
• 7+ years of experience using and/or managing projects using Java, Spring boot, Kafka to build/deploy, and maintain software applications using cloud platforms
• 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams without direct authority, including collaboration with engineering, architecture, security, and business stakeholders
• 3+ years of experience defining technology strategy and leading adoption of AI/ML, cloud services, automation, and developer productivity tools
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms, distributed systems, APIs, microservices, and modern software development practices

Responsibilities

• Own risk mitigation and production stability by identifying vulnerabilities, root cause analysis, and timely resolution for high availability.
• Oversee the full SDLC, ensuring secure coding practices and scalable architecture.
• Collaborate with Product, Data, Infrastructure, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions and align priorities.
• Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies, leading proof‑of‑concepts and informed technology selection.
• Build and develop high‑performing engineering teams through hiring, evaluations, and knowledge sharing.
