Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with at least 5+ years of leading projects or managing directs.
• 7+ years of experience using and/or managing projects using Java, Spring boot, Kafka to build/deploy, and maintain software applications using cloud platforms.
• 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams without direct authority in a matrixed organization.
• 3+ years of experience defining technology strategy and adoption of AI/ML, cloud services, automation, and developer productivity tools.
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms, distributed systems, APIs, microservices, and modern software development practices.

Responsibilities

• Own risk mitigation and production stability by identifying vulnerabilities, leading root cause analysis, and driving timely resolution to ensure high availability.
• Oversee the full SDLC including requirements, design, development, testing, and deployment with secure coding practices and scalable architecture.
• Collaborate with Product, Data, Infrastructure and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions and align priorities.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and drive innovation through proof-of-concepts and informed technology selection.
• Build high-performing teams by hiring, evaluating performance, and fostering continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
