Job summary

Robinhood is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Tokenization team to design, build, and operate backend services that issue, custody, and settle tokenized equities on-chain. You’ll own complex projects end-to-end, ensuring correctness across multiple chains and jurisdictions.

You will collaborate closely with product, compliance, and platform teams, mentored by senior engineers, while contributing to architecture decisions that scale with growth and accessibility goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in distributed systems.
• Experience with Go, Python, or Java and cloud-native architecture.
• Strong ownership of cross-functional projects.
• Mentoring experience and technical leadership.
• Working knowledge of blockchain fundamentals (EVM, wallets, on-chain settlement).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate backend services for tokenized equities.
• Own large projects end-to-end in a 24/7 system.
• Integrate on-chain systems with traditional market infrastructure.
• Collaborate with product, compliance, legal, and platform teams.
• Contribute to design and code reviews; mentor others.
