Robinhood is building the Tokenization team to bring tokenized equities to market, enabling 24/7 on-chain trading across decentralized exchanges. As a Software Engineer, you will own backend services for issuance, custody, and settlement, integrating with traditional brokerage and ledger systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software development experience.
• Backend development with Go, Python, or Java and cloud-native architectures.
• Strong understanding of system design and data modeling.
• Care for correctness-critical systems and on-chain settlement knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy backend services that mint, custody, and settle tokenized equities on the Robinhood Chain.
• Develop product-facing features and platform enhancements meeting strict correctness and scalability standards.
• Build the connective tissue between traditional market infrastructure and on-chain systems, including smart contracts integrations, chain indexers, and DEX trade flows.
• Identify and implement improvements to system performance, engineering productivity, and risk reduction.
• Collaborate with product, compliance, client, and platform teams to deliver technical solutions.
