Job summary

Robinhood is building the future of finance by tokenizing equities and enabling 24/7 on-chain trading across the Robinhood Chain. You will own backend services for issuance, custody, and settlement, while aligning with traditional brokerages and ledger systems.

We seek bold problem-solvers with strong ownership, a passion for correctness, and an interest in blockchain fundamentals. This role supports hybrid work across Menlo Park, NYC, or Toronto, with in-person collaboration 3+ days per week.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software development experience.
• Expertise in backend development with Go, Python, or Java.
• Strong system design, data modeling, and software fundamentals.
• Interest in blockchain fundamentals—EVM, smart contracts, wallets, or on-chain settlement.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy backend services for minting, custody, and on-chain settlement of tokenized equities.
• Develop product-facing features and platform enhancements with high correctness and scalability.
• Bridge traditional market infrastructure with on-chain systems through smart contracts, indexers, and DEX flows.
• Identify and implement improvements to performance, productivity, and risk reduction.
• Collaborate with product, compliance, client, and platform teams to deliver impactful technical solutions.
