Robinhood is seeking a Software Engineer for the Tokenization team in a hybrid office setting (Menlo Park, CA; New York, NY; Toronto). You will build backend services for minting, custody, and settlement of tokenized equities on Robinhood Chain, ensuring correctness and security.

You will collaborate across product, compliance, and platform teams to deliver scalable, auditable systems that move real customer assets continuously.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software development experience.
• Backend development with Go, Python, or Java.
• Strong understanding of system design and data modeling.
• Interest in blockchain fundamentals—EVM, wallets, on-chain settlement.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy backend services for tokenized equities with correctness and auditability.
• Develop features and platform improvements that meet scalability standards.
• Bridge traditional market infrastructure with on-chain systems, including smart contracts integrations.
• Identify performance, productivity, and risk-reduction improvements.
