Robinhood in Bellevue, WA is hiring a Software Engineer for the Tokenization team. You will build backend services for minting, custody, and on-chain settlement of tokenized equities, interfacing with traditional brokerages and ledgers, while ensuring correctness and auditable systems.

Qualifications

2+ years of software development experience.
Backend development in Go, Python, or Java with cloud-native architectures.
Strong system design and data modeling fundamentals.
Attention to correctness-critical systems where money is at stake.
Proven ownership to deliver end-to-end projects.
Interest in blockchain fundamentals or willingness to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

Design, build, test, and deploy backend services that mint, custody, and settle tokenized equities on the Robinhood Chain.
Develop product-facing features and platform enhancements with correctness and scalability.
Bridge traditional market infrastructure with on-chain systems, including smart contract integrations.
Identify and implement improvements to system performance and risk reduction.
Collaborate with product, compliance, client, and platform teams to deliver technical solutions.
