Job summary

Robinhood is seeking a Software Engineer for the Tokenization team to build backend services that enable issuance, custody, and on‑chain settlement of tokenized equities. You will deliver product-facing features and platform capabilities in a domain where correctness is non‑negotiable, moving real customer assets continuously around the clock.

This role is based in Menlo Park, CA (also Toronto or New York City) with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Go, Python or Java.
• Backend, distributed systems, and cloud-native architectures.
• Familiarity with blockchain concepts, on-chain settlement a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy backend services for tokenized equities.
• Develop product-facing features and platform enhancements.
• Bridge traditional market infrastructure and on-chain systems.
• Identify performance improvements and reduce risk.
• Collaborate with product, compliance, client, and platform teams.
