Qualifications

• US citizenship is required per contract.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with 12-15 years of relevant experience or Master's with 10-13 years.
• Proficient with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JSON, REST APIs).
• Proficient with Python, Java, and JavaScript.
• Advanced programming in Go.
• Front-end and back-end frameworks: React, Angular, Vue.js, jQuery, Spring Boot, Django, Node.js, Flask, or Svelte.
• Cloud development across AWS, IBM, Google, Azure, Oracle.
• Relational DBs: MySQL/PostgreSQL/SQL Server; NoSQL: OpenSearch/Elasticsearch.
• OS: Windows, Linux; VCS: Git.
• Experience with AWS GovCloud (C2S) and IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience deploying containerized services (Docker/Kubernetes).
• DevSecOps tools: GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, Keycloak, Vault.
• Agile/Scrum practices and tools (JIRA, Confluence).
• Knowledge of GEOINT data standards (OGC WMS/WFS, NSG).

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical SME and advisor for Chinook mission applications.
• Design, develop, integrate, test, deploy, and maintain modern web applications and backend services.
• Develop scalable, secure software across front-end and back-end tiers.
• Translate mission requirements into robust software architecture and implementation plans.
• Provide technical leadership in design, coding standards, reviews, and best practices.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, data services, and system integrations.
• Build responsive front-end interfaces with modern frameworks.
• Design and optimize database schemas and data workflows.
• Troubleshoot complex application, integration, and production issues.
• Support CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.
• Contribute to containerized and cloud-enabled environments.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and backlog refinement.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering discipline.
• Identify opportunities to improve performance, reliability, security, and scalability.
• Evaluate emerging technologies for mission feasibility.
