Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Software Engineer SME to lead technical solutions for mission applications within the Chinook program. You will design, develop, integrate, test, deploy, and maintain modern web applications and backend services, while guiding architecture and best practices across the team.

You will mentor engineers, support CI/CD and DevSecOps, and contribute to secure, resilient systems tailored for IC mission needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field plus 12–15 years of relevant exp, or Master’s with 10–13 years.
• Proficient with web, REST APIs, OOP, and modern frameworks.
• Experience building containerized, cloud-enabled applications and DevSecOps.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior SME and technical advisor for Chinook program applications.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain modern web and backend services.
• Develop scalable, secure software across front-end and back-end tiers.
