Qualifications

• US citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Software Eng or related field with 12–15 years of exp or Master’s with 10–13 years of exp.
• Proficient with web, REST APIs, Python/Java/JavaScript; Go; React/Angular/Vue.js/Svelte; multi-clouds (AWS, IBM, Google, Azure, Oracle); AWS services (S3, SQS, SNS, EC2, CloudFormation, RDS).
• Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server; OpenSearch/Elasticsearch.
• Experience deploying containerized services (Docker/Kubernetes) and DevSecOps tools; JIRA/Confluence; Agile/Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical SME and advisor for Chinook mission apps.
• Design, develop, integrate, test, deploy, and maintain web and backend services.
• Lead software architecture discussions and establish engineering practices.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, data services, and system integrations.
• Mentor engineers and promote consistent engineering practices.
• Contribute to CI/CD, DevSecOps, and cloud-enabled environments.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and technical sessions.
