Job summary

AnaVation is seeking a Senior Developer II to design, build, and maintain secure, audit‑compliant enterprise applications supporting investigative workflows. You will mentor junior engineers, coordinate with forensic experts, and guide implementation across complex systems aligned with government requirements.

You will lead efforts to ensure privileged‑access controls, cloud deployment readiness, and DevSecOps integration while upholding strict federal security standards in a remote‑friendly

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of enterprise‑software development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages and secure‑coding methodologies.
• Experience with government environments requiring audit compliance, CJIS standards, or privileged access controls.
• Familiarity with AWS/Azure cloud services and FedRAMP‑aligned platforms.
• Clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong attention to detail
• Candidates must meet eligibility requirements for a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and develop secure enterprise applications supporting investigative workflows.
• Implement audit logging, privileged‑access controls, and other federal security requirements.
• Ensure software maintainability, reliability, and compliance with secure‑development standards.
