AnaVation LLC seeks a junior software engineer to contribute to secure, mission-critical applications used by federal law enforcement. You will work under guidance of senior developers, apply foundational coding skills and learn to build maintainable software that meets federal security standards.

You'll collaborate with engineers, forensic specialists, and crypto SMEs to implement features and improvements that support investigators and analysts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.
• Familiarity with software engineering fundamentals, secure coding, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to applications supporting sensitive data or investigative workflows is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain application features under guidance from senior developers.
• Assist with software requirements, design, testing, and maintenance tasks.
• Use modern programming tools, version control, and secure‑coding practices.
• Support debugging, documentation, and sprint activities.
• Work within DevSecOps pipelines and government‑compliant development workflows.
• Troubleshoot issues and support system integration tasks
