Job summary

AnaVation is hiring a junior software engineer to contribute to secure, mission‑critical applications used by federal law enforcement. You will work under senior developers to build maintainable software that complies with federal security standards and participate in DevSecOps pipelines.

You will collaborate with forensic specialists, crypto SMEs, and investigators to deliver features used daily in national security operations, while learning design, testing, and debugging in a fast‑paced

Qualifications

• Software development experience under general supervision.
• Familiarity with secure coding and CI/CD pipelines.
• Clear communication skills, written and verbal.
• Eligibility for Secret clearance; DHS EOD suitability required to begin.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain application features under guidance from senior developers.
• Assist with software requirements, design, testing, and maintenance tasks.
• Use modern programming tools, version control, and secure‑coding practices.
• Support debugging, documentation, and sprint activities.
• Work within DevSecOps pipelines and government‑compliant workflows.
• Troubleshoot issues and support system integration tasks.
