Job summary

Edovo is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to drive complex software initiatives across our stack. You will own projects from inception through delivery, mentor engineers, and shape architecturally sound, scalable solutions.

Ideal candidates have strong Java/Spring Boot experience, automated testing, and AWS expertise. This role allows remote work within the United States and requires collaboration with Product, Support, and Finance teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in modern full-stack web-application development.
• Experience with backend systems serving tens of millions of requests per day (Java/Spring Boot).
• Experience with automated testing, continuous deployment, monitoring/alerting.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and workflows.
• Experience with AWS infrastructure and/or comparable cloud-native architecture.
• A track record of owning a project end-to-end — from scoping through delivery.
• Experience mentoring other engineers or leading technical projects.
• Clear, structured written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of projects from inception to delivery across the stack.
• Lead architectural decisions and ensure scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define scope, timelines, and success metrics.
• Contribute to on-call rotations and incident response as needed.
