Edmentum, a remote-first education technology company, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to shape AI-enabled educational tools. You will lead delivery from idea to production, modernize legacy systems, and drive architectural decisions across .NET and modern frontend stacks.

You’ll collaborate with stakeholders, mentor engineers, and apply Domain-Driven Design, DevOps, and AWS best practices while embracing Agile methods to deliver high-quality software for educators and students.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of C#, .NET, and modern web stacks.
• Experience with Angular or React and scalable web applications.
• Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD), DevOps, and AWS.
• Experience applying AI-assisted development and context engineering.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions using .NET and Angular.
• Lead design sessions and mentor engineers to elevate standards.
• Collaborate with product stakeholders on viability and estimation.
• Modernize legacy applications and promote best practices.
• Identify and address technical risks and inefficiencies.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for solutions and processes.
• Own end-to-end solution lifecycle with iterative value delivery.
