Job summary

Edovo is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to own both product-layer coordination and the people leadership for engineers, product managers, and CTO. This hybrid role combines direct people management with backlog ownership, scoping, and stakeholder management to keep the team coordinated.

The role spans platform, data, and support functions, requiring holistic thinking and cross-functional alignment with product teams.

Qualifications

• Experience managing engineers directly, including hiring and performance reviews.
• Ability to own a technical backlog and balance competing demands.
• Experience planning modernization and migration efforts.
• Comfort working across multiple technical functions (infrastructure, data, application development).
• Strong communication translating technical work for nontechnical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Hold regular 1:1s with engineers to foster growth and alignment.
• Lead performance reviews and provide coaching.
• Participate in headcount planning, hiring, and career development.
• Guide goal-setting for teams aligned to business needs.
• Support Tech Leads with technical guidance and planning.
