Job summary

Edovo is hiring a Software Engineering Manager to own product-layer coordination and people leadership. This hybrid role combines direct team management with backlog ownership, scoping, and stakeholder management across engineering, product, and infrastructure teams.

The role requires strong people leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to guide architectural decisions while aligning with business goals. Remote work within the United States is supported.

Qualifications

• Experience managing engineers directly, including hiring, performance reviews and career development.
• Ability to own a technical backlog and make prioritization trade-offs across demands.
• Strong communication skills to translate technical work for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Hold regular 1:1s with engineers to foster growth and alignment.
• Lead performance reviews and coaching for reports.
• Participate in headcount planning, hiring and career development.
• Guide goal-setting and align team goals to business needs.
• Maintain and prioritize backlogs across Tech Stream, Data and Support in Jira.
• Lead scoping conversations and translate requests into prioritized work.
• Represent functions in cross-functional meetings and align roadmaps with Product.
