Akamai Technologies, Inc. is hiring for multiple openings for a Senior Software Engineer in Cambridge, MA.

The role involves developing and improving authentication, authorization, and identity-related web applications, and supporting the full software lifecycle from design through deployment. The position participates in architecture, testing, and maintenance of software solutions, while contributing to automated test suites.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Networking, IT, Information Systems, or Telecommunications Engineering, plus two years of related experience.
• Two years of experience with Linux/Unix, REST/JSON APIs, web technologies, UI test frameworks, UI build systems, TLS/HTTP, Git and Jenkins, and agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform software engineering duties in design and implementation of web applications, focusing on authentication, authorization, and identity-related products.
• Design, implement, automate, and support software solutions across the platform.
• Contribute to automated test suites including unit, functional, integration, and end-to-end tests.
