Job summary

Akamai is seeking a Senior Technical Marketing Engineer- API Security in Cambridge/US (Remote) to translate hands-on security expertise into credible technical content, demonstrations, and product marketing programs. You will deploy Akamai security products in lab and production-like environments and create reusable assets for customers, partners, and field teams.

The role requires building PoC environments, reference architectures, API attack simulations, and technical papers showcasing

Qualifications

• Hands-on security experience with APIs, WAAP, and AI security.
• Ability to develop technical content for developers and security buyers.
• Experience deploying security products in lab and production-like environments.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and operate Akamai security products in lab/production-like environments.
• Build and maintain PoC environments, reference architectures, and attack simulations.
• Create demos, labs, and technical training materials for customers and partners.
• Translate product capabilities into technical positioning, briefs, and sales content.
• Develop blogs, white papers, integration guides, and architecture content.
