CVS Health's Oak Street Health team is seeking a Sr Software Engineer to own complex backend workstreams, design robust data models, and mentor engineers in a healthcare context. You will shape systems that support patient scheduling, care coordination, and healthcare integrations.

You will build file-ingestion pipelines with Databricks, drive test coverage, and ensure observability and reliability. Collaboration with product and business stakeholders is essential to automate workflows and

Qualifications

5+ years building distributed backend systems in production.
Proficiency building system prompts and utilizing AI frameworks.
Hands-on experience with MongoDB or comparable document stores.
Track record of leading technical work across a team - not just executing it.
Experience with cloud-native deployment (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

Responsibilities

Design robust system prompts using LLM frameworks.
Partner with product teams and business stakeholders to understand and automate workflows.
Design and implement robust file-ingestion pipelines using Databricks.
Own a domain or service area end-to-end, including its data model and integration contracts.
Lead code reviews, set technical standards, and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
Hold the team accountable for test coverage, observability, and the production health of the services you own.
