CVS Health's Oak Street Health engineering team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own end-to-end backend workstreams in a healthcare setting. You will design system prompts with AI frameworks, build robust data pipelines with Databricks, and mentor engineers to elevate code quality and observability across services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building distributed backend systems in production.
• Proficiency building system prompts and utilizing AI frameworks
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB or comparable document stores
• Track record of leading technical work across a team
• Experience with cloud-native deployment (Azure, AWS, or GCP)

Responsibilities

• Design robust system prompts using LLM frameworks
• Partner with product teams and business stakeholders to understand and automate workflows
• Design and implement robust file-ingestion pipelines using Databricks
• Own a domain or service area end-to-end, including its data model and integration contracts
• Lead code reviews, set technical standards, and mentor junior and mid-level engineers
• Hold the team accountable for test coverage, observability, and the production health of the services you own
