Job summary

Fuze Health is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for FuzeRx to enhance the prescription processing platform and patient experience. You will work on the Care Team services, improving intake automation, billing/configuration for partners, and clinician workflows.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in high-volume software environments, deep backend/full-stack expertise, and a focus on system design, quality, and scalable solutions in a fast-paced healthcare/tech setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of progressive software engineering in a high-volume environment.
• Deep background in Backend or Full Stack with Ruby on Rails, TypeScript/JavaScript, PostgreSQL.
• System design for maintainability, performance and scalability.
• Strong fundamentals, production issue mitigation and code quality focus.
• Relentless mindset aimed at impact and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Improve patients' lives by building the Care Team services for prescription processing.
• Prepare prescriptions for fulfillment quickly and accurately via automation and coordination.
• Enable partners to configure billing, benefits and clinical workflows.
• Collaborate on high-impact projects like improving intake automation with LLMs.
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices in software development.
