Job summary

Fuze Health is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for FuzeRx in Illinois, focused on improving the pharmacy experience and prescription processing. You will engineer core services, automate workflows, and collaborate with partners to configure billing, benefits, and clinical workflows.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in software engineering, deep Rails/TS/SQL skills, and a track record of building scalable systems.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 10+ years of progressive software engineering in a high-volume environment.
• Core Technologies: Ruby on Rails, TypeScript/JavaScript, PostgreSQL.
• System Design: Architecting complex systems for maintainability, performance and scalability.
• Technical Fundamentals: Strong base in building high-volume, resilient systems.
• Quality & Best Practices: Code style, documentation, reviews, and production issue mitigation.
• Mindset: Relentless pursuit of impact through work.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale backend and frontend services powering the FuzeRx platform.
• Collaborate with ML initiatives to integrate predictive models.
• Architect extensible inventory and billing workflows to support partners and clinics.
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices across teams.
