Job summary

Fuze Health is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for FuzeRx to join a team improving pharmacy experiences and patient outcomes. You will own backend services powering prescription intake and processing, while enabling billing, benefits, and clinical workflows.

You will mentor engineers and contribute to scalable platform design, across high-volume systems in a dynamic healthcare/e-commerce environment. Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in production software, strong RoR and TS/JS skills, and

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 10+ years in a high-volume production software environment.
• Core technologies: Ruby on Rails, TypeScript/JavaScript, PostgreSQL.
• System design: architecting complex, maintainable, scalable systems.
• Technical fundamentals: strong engineering foundations for high-volume workloads.
• Quality & best practices: code style, documentation, reviews, production issue mitigation.
• Mindset: relentlessly pursue impactful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services powering prescription intake and processing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to enable billing, benefits and clinical workflows.
• Lead and mentor engineers; drive best practices in software development.
• Architect scalable platforms to support growth and reliability.
• Partner with ML and data teams to deliver predictive capabilities.
