Job summary

Fuze Health is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the FuzeRx team. You will join a group building pharmacy experiences that streamline prescription processing from intake through fulfillment, leveraging automation and scalable systems.

Responsibilities include designing high-impact backend and full-stack services, enabling partners to tailor billing and clinical workflows, and mentoring peers to maintain engineering excellence across a growing platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience in a high-volume, high-throughput production environment.
• Deep background in Backend or Full Stack technologies (Ruby on Rails, TypeScript/JavaScript, PostgreSQL).
• Expertise in architecting complex systems for long-term maintainability, performance, and scalability.
• Strong fundamentals with experience building high-volume, resilient systems.
• Proven track record of technical best practices, including code style, documentation, code review, bug fixing, and production issue mitigation.
• Relentless in pursuing impact through your work.

Responsibilities

• Join the Care Team to manage prescription processing from intake up to fulfillment.
• Prepare prescriptions for fulfillment quickly with automation and coordinated manual tasks.
• Enable partners to configure billing, benefits, and clinical workflows tailored to use cases.
• Architect extensible inventory management foundations to fuel growth.
• Mentor engineers and promote best software development practices.
