Serco is seeking a Senior Level Software Engineer to support the AFLCMC/WAG program at Tinker AFB, OK. You will develop software strategies for weapon systems, translate requirements into system specs, and perform in-depth assessments of contractor deliveries.

The role requires hands-on development experience with C++, JavaScript, and Python, plus a TS clearance with SCI/SAP access and up-to-date background investigations. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI/SAP access and a recent background investigation.
• Master's or Bachelor’s degree in engineering with extensive DoD/contractor experience.
• Minimum 3 years of SAP experience within the last 8 years; hands-on software development.
• Recent hands-on software development or analysis experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% (CONUS).

Responsabilités

• Develop software engineering strategies to acquire, develop, and sustain software for weapon systems and equipment.
• Translate user requirements into system requirements for design, development, and testing.
• Assess DoD contractor software deliveries and evaluate architecture, performance, and quality.
• Analyze software performance deficiencies and propose corrective actions.
• Audit contractor software configuration control measures and ensure quality accreditation.
• Evaluate proposed design changes and conduct systems analyses and trade studies.
• Review system design, software architecture, and interoperability requirements.
• Evaluate test plans and participate in system, subsystem, and component testing.
• Contribute to program documentation and conduct technical evaluations of proposals.
• Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.
