Job summary

The role requires active Top‑Secret clearance with SCI/SAP eligibility, a 20‑year engineering background with the DoD, and SAP/SCI experience within the last five years, plus up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Active Top-Secret security clearance with ability to obtain SCI and SAP access; current background investigation within 5 years or under Continuous Vetting.
• Minimum 20 years of relevant engineering experience with the DoD or DoD contractors.
• Minimum 3 years of SAP or SCI experience within the last 5 years.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% (CONUS).

Responsibilities

• Apply DoD systems security engineering processes and anti-tamper methods for weapon systems.
• Assess integrated circuitry and memory chips for reverse engineering approaches.
• Provide engineering support including long-term planning, RFP development, and project oversight.
• Review contractor proposals for feasibility and compatibility.
• Collaborate with Service labs and industry partners on vulnerabilities and exploitation countermeasures.
• Identify technologies to protect CPI; support anti-tamper exploitation design and testing.
• Create, staff, and maintain security classification guides for the DoD AT community.
