Job summary

Serco Inc. (Serco) seeks a Senior Level Software Engineer to support the AFLCMC/WAG program at Tinker AFB, OK. You will develop software strategies, translate requirements, and assess contractor deliveries for aircraft and test equipment across DoD domains.

Requirements include active TOP-SECRET clearance with SCI/SAP access, 10+ years DoD engineering experience (Masters) or 15+ years (Bachelor's), and hands-on software development. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's in engineering with DoD/ gov contractor experience preferred.
• Hands-on software development or analysis in recent years.
• Experience with software design, integration, testing, and certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop software engineering strategies for weapon systems and support equipment.
• Translate user requirements into system requirements for software design and testing.
• Assess DoD contractor software deliveries for aircraft/test equipment.
• Analyze software performance deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
• Audit contractor software configuration and quality accreditation.
• Evaluate contractor design changes and perform trade-off studies.
• Review system design, architecture, and interoperability requirements.
• Evaluate test plans and participate in system and component testing.
• Support development and review of program and contract documentation.
• Conduct technical evaluations of contractor proposals.
• Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.
