Job summary

Serco Inc. invites applications for a Senior Level Software Engineer to support an Air Force program at Tinker AFB, OK. You will help develop and sustain software for weapon systems and associated equipment, translating requirements into validated system designs.

The role requires active TOP-SECRET clearance with SCI/SAP access, hands-on software development, and the ability to travel up to 10% CONUS. A Master’s or Bachelor’s in a relevant field is required with extensive DoD experience.

Qualifications

• Active TOP-SECRET clearance with SCI/SAP access; current within 5 years.
• Master's Degree with 10+ years of DoD/DoD contractor experience.
• Bachelor's Degree with 15+ years of DoD/DoD contractor experience.
• Minimum of 3 years SAP experience within the last 8 years.
• Recent hands-on software development or analysis.
• Ability to travel up to 10% CONUS.

Responsibilities

• Develop software strategies in support of weapon systems software acquisition and sustainment.
• Translate user requirements into system requirements for software design and testing.
• Assess DoD contractor software deliveries for aircraft/test equipment.
• Analyze software performance deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
• Audit DoD contractor software configuration and quality accreditation.
• Evaluate contractor design changes and perform systems analyses and trade studies.
