Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Senior Level Software Engineer to support the AFLCMC/WAG program at Tinker AFB, OK. You will develop software strategies for weapon systems and translate requirements into system-level designs while auditing contractor deliveries and conducting risk assessments.

The role requires hands-on development in C++, Python, and JavaScript, with 10+ years of DoD engineering experience and a TS clearance. Travel up to 10% and potential SAP/SCI exposure are included.

Qualifications

• Active Top-Secret security clearance (ability to obtain SCI/SAP)
• Masters Degree in a relevant engineering discipline with 10+ years DoD/contractor experience
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant engineering discipline with 15+ years DoD/contractor experience
• Minimum of 3 years of SAP experience within last 8 years
• Recent hands-on software development or analysis
• Ability to travel up to 10% (CONUS)

Responsibilities

• Develop software engineering strategies for weapon system software
• Translate user requirements into system requirements for software design
• Assess DoD contractor software deliveries for aircraft/test equipment
• Analyze software performance deficiencies and recommend corrective actions
• Audit DoD contractor software configuration and control measures
• Evaluate contractor design changes and perform systems analyses
• Review system design software architecture and interoperability requirements
• Evaluate system test plans and participate in testing
• Support development and review of program documentation
• Conduct technical evaluations of contractor proposals
• Perform technical risk assessments and develop mitigation plans
