Job summary

Chase is seeking a senior software architect to design and oversee architecture for large-scale co-brand credit card platforms, emphasizing service-oriented and event-driven patterns. You will guide cloud architecture, observability, resiliency, and enterprise integration across distributed systems.

You will collaborate with Product, Architecture, and SRE to translate business requirements into scalable designs and robust solutions, including frontend dashboards for audits and reporting.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree with relevant experience and progression in software architecture.
• 3–5+ years in software engineering or architecture roles with distributed systems focus.

Responsibilities

• Design architecture for large-scale co-brand credit card platforms.
• Oversee cloud architecture and platform capabilities for scalable distributed systems.
• Define observability standards including logging, monitoring, and alerts.
• Lead resiliency strategies for distributed systems, fault tolerance, and recovery.
• Integrate distributed apps with mainframe systems via z/OS APIs.
• Develop frontend applications for audit and data visualization.
• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, and SRE to translate requirements into designs.
