Chase is a leading financial services firm delivering digital banking tools to consumers and small businesses. This Senior Lead Software Engineer role drives end-to-end delivery of secure, scalable software and mentors a high-performing team.

Based in Plano, TX, you will lead architecture decisions, code reviews, and collaboration with cross-functional partners to align technical outcomes with business goals, while upholding security and resiliency standards.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficiency in front end technologies such as React/ReactJS, Redux, Angular/AngularJS, ExtJS, JQuery, NodeJS.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and relational databases like Postgres.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers with code reviews to improve delivery quality.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and AWS for deployments.

Responsibilities

• Regularly provides technical guidance to support business and technical teams.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code and conducts reviews.
• Drives decisions influencing product design, functionality, and operations.
• Acts as a subject matter expert and participates in architecture evaluations.
• Promotes AI-assisted engineering practices with secure validation standards.
• Leads evaluation sessions with vendors to assess architectural designs and credentials.
• Supports enterprise-wide frameworks, tools, and SDLC processes.
