Job summary

Chase is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer - Full Stack React/AWS in Digital Technology within Consumer and Community Banking Technology. You will drive end-to-end delivery of secure, scalable software and mentor engineers while shaping architecture and engineering practices across the team.

You will lead design discussions, review code, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver high-quality digital experiences at scale, emphasizing security and resiliency in every sprint.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 5+ years of practice.
• Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing and operational stability.
• Proficiency with frontend technologies such as React/ReactJS, Redux, Angular/AngularJS, ExtJS, JQuery, NodeJS.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, and relational databases (RDS/Postgres).
• Mentor engineers, perform code reviews, and improve delivery quality and velocity.
• Proficient in infrastructure provisioning with Terraform and IaC practices.
• Cloud-native AWS experience and safe, compliant AI-assisted development usage.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical guidance to business and technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews code.
• Drives product design decisions and architectural operations.
• Acts as a subject matter expert across areas of focus.
• Contributes to software development life cycle practices and tooling adoption.
