Chase is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer - Full Stack React/AWS to drive end-to-end delivery of secure, scalable software for digital banking products. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, architecture influence, and mentorship across cross-functional teams.

You will guide design decisions, improve performance and reliability, and champion AI-assisted tooling while maintaining strong security and resiliency in a fast-paced agile environment.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficiency in frontend technologies like React/ReactJS, Redux, Angular, ExtJS, JQuery, NodeJS.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and relational databases (PostgreSQL/RDS).
• Lead and mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical guidance to support business and technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews code written by others.
• Drives design decisions for product functionality and technical operations.
• Acts as a subject matter expert across focus areas.
• Contributes to engineering community and fosters best practices in SDLC and security.
