CVS Health Digital is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable digital solutions across applications. You should have 5+ years of backend experience, strong Java/Spring Boot and microservices skills, and expertise with GraphQL, REST APIs, and cloud-native patterns to deliver reliable, secure

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend software development experience.
• 3+ years in Java fundamentals, Spring Boot, and related ecosystem.
• 3+ years of GraphQL, REST APIs, and microservices design.
• 3+ years of relational/NoSQL database design and optimization.
• 2+ years in SDLC, Git, branching, and CI/CD pipelines.
• 2+ years participating in code reviews and testing strategies.
• 2+ years of cloud-native development.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and architecture of scalable digital solutions with enterprise alignment.
• Write production-ready code and implement key functionalities.
• Drive architecture decisions for performance, security, and maintainability.
• Mentor junior engineers through reviews and pair programming sessions.
• Champion testing, CI/CD, and observability practices.
• Own QA process for complex features with unit/integration tests.
• Collaborate with product, operations, and clinical stakeholders.
• Support agile ceremonies and remove technical blockers.
