Job summary
CVS Health Digital is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to lead the design, development and implementation of complex digital solutions and systems. You will apply deep technical expertise to architect scalable software and mentor junior engineers while shaping the technical direction of digital engineering projects.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of software development experience with backend focus.
- 3+ years of Java fundamentals and Spring ecosystem experience (including concurrency & JVM tuning).
- 3+ years of GraphQL, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture experience.
- 3+ years of database design and optimization across relational and NoSQL databases.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of efficient, reliable, scalable digital solutions.
- Write high-quality, production-ready code and implement critical functionalities.
- Mentor junior engineers and drive code reviews and knowledge sharing.
- Champion engineering best practices including CI/CD, testing, and observability.
- Own QA processes for complex features with thorough testing and debugging.
- Lead cross-functional discussions with product, operations, and clinical stakeholders.
