Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend software development experience.
• 3+ years in Java fundamentals, Spring Boot, and Spring ecosystem.
• 3+ years building GraphQL, REST APIs and microservices.
• 3+ years database design across relational and NoSQL systems.
• 2+ years SDLC, Git, branching strategies, and CI/CD pipelines.
• 2+ years participating in code reviews and testing strategies.
• 2+ years cloud-native development and deployment patterns.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and architecture of scalable digital solutions.
• Write production-ready code and develop complex components.
• Drive architectural decisions for performance, security, and maintainability.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pairing.
• Champion testing, CI/CD, and observability practices.
• Own QA processes with tests, reviews, debugging and deployment.
• Lead cross-functional technical discussions with product and operations.
• Create and maintain system design docs and runbooks.
• Identify opportunities for debt reduction and optimization.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and mentor others.
