Job summary
enGen is seeking an experienced software engineer to join an agile team building scalable applications across digital channels. You will take an enterprise-wide architectural view and drive technical execution using the stack that best fits the platform.
The role requires collaboration across idea generation, business analysis, design, and development using modern technologies, with a focus on performance and scalability. A strong emphasis on mentoring and code quality is expected.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or related field.
- 5 years designing and analyzing algorithms, data structures, and patterns for scalable, highly available systems.
- Experience with modern languages: Java, Python, JavaScript, etc., and familiarity with web services (REST/JSON).
- Ability to translate design mockups and user stories into working applications.
Responsibilities
- Design and write engineering specifications for software applications.
- Contribute to idea generation and implement technical solutions.
- Participate in all Scrum ceremonies and assist in sprint planning.
- Create and manage tasks using RTC/Jira and track progress.
- Monitor production schedule and provide regular progress updates.
- Mentor junior and intermediate engineers.
