Job summary

enGen is seeking an experienced software engineer to join an agile team building scalable enterprise applications. The role emphasizes architectural oversight, cross‑functional collaboration, and delivering high‑quality software using modern stacks.

Qualifications

5 years proficiency in design and analysis of algorithms and scalable systems.
5 years in at least one modern programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.) and exposure to two of: React, Angular, NodeJS, NoSQL, HTML5/CSS, cloud platforms.
5 years understanding REST/HTTPS/JSON web services and 5 years in multiple general purpose languages.
5 years defining system architectures and evaluating feasibility and trade-offs.

Responsibilities

Design and write engineering specifications and code that meets standards.
Generate ideas, select technical solutions, and ensure scalability and performance.
Participate in all scrum ceremonies and assist in sprint planning and execution.
Manage story creation, DoD, Acceptance Criteria, and task updates in RTC/Jira.
Monitor production progress and mentor junior engineers as needed.
