Job summary

enGen is seeking an experienced software engineer to join an agile team building scalable applications across digital channels. The role focuses on enterprise-wide architectural perspectives and end-to-end execution using modern tech stacks.

You will participate in design, analysis, and development using the latest patterns, with exposure to Claude Code or Google Gemini. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in design and algorithms, strong cloud and web services experience, and a track record

Qualifications

5 years proficiency in design and analysis of algorithms and scalable systems.
Experience with modern languages (Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.) and at least two of React, Angular, NodeJS, NoSQL, HTML5/CSS, cloud platforms.
Strong understanding of REST/HTTPS/JSON web services.

Responsibilities

Design and write engineering specs and code that meets standards.
Generate ideas and implement technical solutions for features while ensuring scalability.
Participate in all Scrum ceremonies and assist sprint planning.
Drive story creation with DoD and Acceptance Criteria and manage tasks in RTC or Jira.
Monitor progress and report issues to leads; mentor junior engineers as needed.
Perform code reviews and ensure maintainable, fault-tolerant code.
