Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical knowledge.
• 5+ years in application engineering, software development, or related role with progression toward senior ownership.
• Proficiency across the full stack with depth in back-end services and data APIs; collaboration on UI architecture.
• Experience designing and owning web app architecture for data-intensive apps including scalability and maintainability.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript and familiarity with React or Vue.
• Experience integrating generative AI into production apps with LLM APIs and prompt-driven workflows.
• Knowledge of data pipelines, data APIs, and cloud data platform integration with the ability to design consuming/exposing apps.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and CI/CD, environment management, and security.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain web app infrastructure and data systems for interactive experiences.
• Own application-level technical standards including code quality and deployment practices.
• Collaborate with information engineers, designers, and data scientists on visualizations and UI.
• Write production-grade code across the full stack, emphasizing back-end services and data APIs.
• Lead evaluation and deployment of generative AI capabilities within web apps and information systems.
• Prototype architectures for emerging interfaces like XR and AI-assisted experiences.
