Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable web applications and data systems. You will drive architectural decisions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and implement AI-enabled experiences across the ID&E platform.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in software development, strong back-end and front-end skills, and experience with Azure and CI/CD. The role offers remote or hybrid work arrangements and opportunities to work on innovative data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical knowledge and experience.
• 5+ years in application engineering, software development, or related technical role.
• Experience designing and owning web app architecture for data-intensive apps.
• Proficiency in back-end languages (Python, JavaScript, TypeScript) and front-end frameworks (React).
• Experience integrating generative AI capabilities into production or near-production apps.
• Knowledge of data pipelines, data APIs, and cloud data platform integration.
• Experience with cloud deployment practices (Azure preferred), CI/CD, and security.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain web app infrastructure and data systems.
• Own application- layer technical standards and deployment practices.
• Collaborate with information engineers, designers, and data scientists to deliver narratives and visuals.
• Write production-quality code across the full stack, focusing on back-end services and data APIs.
• Lead evaluation and deployment of generative AI capabilities in apps.
• Prototype architectures for XR and AI-assisted user experiences.
• Ensure reliability, security, accessibility, and scalability across ID&E systems.
