Job summary

EY is seeking a senior software/platform engineer with strong leadership to drive design, development, and delivery of AI-forward solutions. You’ll lead high‑impact projects within a large product team, shaping architecture while ensuring business and user requirements are met.

You’ll partner with Development, Engineering and Architecture teams, applying expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD. Hybrid work and a comprehensive Total Rewards package are offered.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in designing, developing, and debugging solutions.
• Advanced knowledge of one or more of: C#/Java or Python.
• Advanced knowledge of data modeling, OLTP/OLAP, NoSQL, data lineage, synthetic data creation.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, IT, mathematics, or related field preferred.
• More than 10 years of applied experience.
• Experience in delivering software/platform engineering solutions with leadership.
• CI/CD delivery using GitHub, ADO, and automation tools.
• Proficiency in fine-tuning language models for tasks like text generation, summarization, or QA.
• Knowledge of embedding models for NLP tasks (similarity, clustering, info retrieval).
• Familiarity with agentic systems combining AI with external tools for autonomous decision-making.
• Ability to design evaluation frameworks, metrics, A/B testing, and benchmarking.

Responsibilities

• Solves complex and escalated aspects of a project, coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the development process.
• Provides advanced technical expertise to maximize efficiency, reliability and value from current solutions and emerging technologies, showing technical leadership.
• Develops strong working relationships with peers across Development, Engineering and Architecture teams, collaborating on leading solutions.
• Provides a leadership role for the work group, ensuring expectations, principles, structures, tools and responsibilities are in place to deliver the project.
• Drives consistency to processes, procedures, standards, and technical design; supports the definition and implementation of technology standards.
