Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking a lead software engineer to shape and deliver AI-forward solutions within a medium to large product team. You will take accountability for design, development, delivery and maintenance of solutions, driving compliance with standards and enabling rapid, high-quality output.

The role emphasizes hands-on coding, collaboration with Development & Engineering and Architecture teams, and leadership to deliver robust platforms while advancing modern AI-enabled

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, IT, mathematics, or related field preferred.
• More than 10 years applied experience.
• Significant experience in software or platform engineering roles.
• Technical knowledge and experience in delivering software/platform engineering solutions.
• CI/CD delivery using code management and automation tools (GitHub, ADO).

Responsibilities

• Solves complex and escalated aspects of a project including coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Provides advanced technical expertise to maximize efficiency and reliability of solutions.
• Develops strong working relationships with peers across Development, Engineering and Architecture.
• Provides leadership for the work group to deliver projects with appropriate structures and responsibilities.
• Drives consistency in processes, standards, and technical design across projects.
