Job summary

EY is seeking a senior technical leader to act as a key player-coach on a medium to large product team. You will drive design, development, delivery and maintenance of solutions, embracing AI-forward development to enhance quality and speed.

You’ll lead complex work, ensure alignment with business and technical requirements, and help shape standards while mentoring peers across Development & Engineering and Architecture teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, IT, mathematics, or related field preferred.
• 10+ years of applied experience.
• Significant experience in software/platform engineering roles.
• CI/CD delivery using code management and automation tools such as GitHub and ADO.
• Technical knowledge in ML/NLP tasks and AI model evaluation.
• Demonstrated technical leadership and coaching abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting across the development lifecycle.
• Provide advanced technical expertise to maximize efficiency, reliability and value.
• Collaborate with Development, Engineering and Architecture teams to engineer solutions.
• Provide leadership for the work group with clear expectations and responsibilities.
• Drive process, standards and design consistency across projects.
