Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience in spatial systems, world modeling, or simulation environments.
• Expert-level C++ skills (C++20 or later) with performance optimization focus.
• Hands-on experience building world or scene representations in game engines, simulators, or autonomous stacks.
• Strong background in computational geometry and low-latency design.

Responsibilities

• Architect World & Scene Representation Systems and data structures, including ECS, spatial indexing, and 4D object management for large multi-agent environments.
• Own Mapping & Geometry Pipelines between sensor data and path planning stacks, including coordinate frame management and environment abstraction layers.
• Drive performance to the metal by profiling hot paths, reducing allocations, and achieving real-time performance.
• Lead technical strategy and API design enabling cross-domain integration across air, ground, and maritime stacks.
• Collaborate and mentor across sensor, planning, and simulation engineers to meet autonomy stack needs.
