Job summary

GCH Tech is seeking a Software Architect to provide technical leadership for our Short Code Registry platform. You will define architecture, guide engineering standards, and deliver scalable software and analytics across cloud-native applications.

You will partner with product, business, and engineering stakeholders to modernize platform capabilities, enable data-driven insights, and ensure long-term reliability and performance. Prior leadership in SaaS architecture is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience designing web applications with React, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience building APIs/backend with Node.js/NestJS/Express.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, schema design, indexing and query optimization.
• Experience using AWS services (EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, IAM, Cognito, QuickSight) (at least three).
• Experience leading a production software application as technical lead or architect.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve multi-tenant SaaS architecture for the platform.
• Lead the design and delivery of scalable full-stack solutions using React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, and NestJS.
• Architect APIs, integrations, and service patterns for secure, maintainable solutions.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL data models, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Establish cloud architecture standards across AWS services (RDS, Lambda, S3, IAM, Cognito, QuickSight).
• Architect and deliver embedded analytics with AWS QuickSight, including dashboards and row-level security.
• Drive architecture reviews, decisions, and engineering standards for scalability, resiliency, and observability.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business objectives into technical roadmaps.
• Champion Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor engineers throughout the SDLC from design to production support.
