Job summary

Koch seeks a Software Architect in Denver to provide technical leadership for a Short Code Registry platform. Define architecture, guide engineering standards, and deliver scalable cloud-native solutions across analytics and data services.

Collaborate with product, business, and engineering stakeholders to modernize capabilities, enable data-driven insights, and ensure platform reliability and performance. Embrace IaC with Terraform and CI/CD to drive excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience designing web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Proven API and backend design with Node.js/NestJS/Express.
• Strong PostgreSQL data modeling, indexing, and query tuning.
• Hands-on AWS cloud experience (RDS, Lambda, S3, IAM, Cognito, QuickSight).
• Led technical teams as architecture owner for production software.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve application, data, and cloud architecture for a multi-tenant SaaS platform.
• Lead the design and delivery of scalable full-stack solutions using React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, and NestJS.
• Architect APIs, integrations, and service patterns for secure, maintainable solutions.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL data models, indexing strategies, and performance tuning.
• Establish cloud architecture standards across AWS services (RDS, Lambda, S3, IAM, Cognito, QuickSight).
• Architect and deliver embedded analytics using AWS QuickSight, including dashboard design and data modeling.
• Drive architecture reviews and engineering standards for scalability, resiliency, security, and observability.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business objectives into technical roadmaps.
• Champion Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across the lifecycle.
